This artcile is great. Social media for wineries is extremely important in an ever changing world where technology can make or break your business. We at Wine Promotions have created a very inexpensive way to promote wineries, vineyards and their wines via the best on-line touch points especially now with a glut of wine worldwide and prices dropping as much as 50%.

Statistics show in this article how important it is for wineries to get on board in making social media and the up and coming mobile media a standard if marketing their wines.

Thanks for the article and statistics.

As far as i am concerned men who are negative on this are either Gay or totally dishonest (or complete cowards / well both - as they probably fear retribution from the wife - lol ). In the real men's world, he's a hero and make us proud to be men. I do really think sponsors should bank big time on Tiger. I'd buy anything branded Tiger Woods right now.
Think the marketers should get their research right and spend a bit more time a the pub listening to what blokes say instead of talking nonsense.

A month is sometimes just a blink in one man's life. But i'm pretty sure for Tiger Woods, such time could been as long as centuries. After all, he really made a hit on social media (which not lots of men could barely do that with even a year or so =)) )

Great study. I've just blogged about it at http://www.israeli-wine.org/2010/01/28/social-media-and-the-wine-industry/

Amazing to see so many wine bloggers and wineries on Twitter. In Israel, we still have a long way to go!
